Bio
HEED CASE are a two piece, based in the Northeast of England. Composed of former long-time Angelic Upstarts guitarist Newts Newton & Mr Dusty, who is responsible for beats, bleeps & triggers! The band came about after Newts & Mr Dusty reunited, after having previously been in a band together, many moons ago.
Influenced by a range of genres from classic punk, new wave / cold wave, psych rock, minimal techno and a pinch of post punk, HEED CASE aim to move beyond their punk & psych rock roots & explore more experimental sonic landscapes.
Our debut album titled ‘All the Rage’ was Inspired by the work of Dr Stephanie Sarkis & explores the themes of gaslighting & narcissism in modern society.
Our second album ‘Mongo’, was released in October 2025 to critical acclaim
Going forward, HEED CASE continue to explore & write ever more experimental material for future releases, whilst crafting a live show to engage audiences with their tight, angry rhythms and raw vocals.
